Ticks are small parasites

Hey! Today we will talk about a current topic, which is probably on the lips and in the heads of all dog owners – these are fleas and ticks! Spring has come,

and you immediately need to think about what and how to handle the dog. How to choose the right flea and tick remedy to be effective, safe and right for your pet!

…..that get on your pet via the feet, and crawl up to the head, neck, ears and the naval areas of dogs and cats! The seasonal temperatures are rising, it is getting warmer out there.
That means, it is a prime time for these creatures  to come out of the ground. It is important to prepare your pet way  before  you can have that problem. 
These insects are getting very aggressive after long hibernation  period and are ready to jump on your furry friend.

 They are living breathing organisms, that then would inject a small tiny drill into your pet’s flesh and, after breaking the skin, would feed on blood, going deeper and deeper into the body! I think it is safe to say that the recommendation comes fro many reputable veterinarians who suggest that Merial – Nexgard is very effective. 

There are two types:

One in white package and another one is in purple. White is widely used  because it does not consist of anti worm ingredients that could be harmful to some dogs.

Make sure you are using a proper weight gradient for your pet ( it should say on the label). In this case you can only use half the pill and save the other half for later use ( please store it in a cool, shady environment though). 

 

Ticks Can Cause Lyme Disease

Pet’s  liver mast be given a rest to recover, especially in a winter time when the risk of ticks  is minimal. Save the meds for Spring.

Spring has come: the sun is shining, warm weather and holidays! Fleas and ticks : Hello!  As a groomer I personally saw what a tick can do to a dog when bitten. A small bite become a large bloody and painful area that can become bigger and bigger, nastier and widely infected. Tick bites destroy leucocite , also known as a White Blood Cell and will lead to death if no intervention applied. It would only take a week for a pet to die in agony!

The symptoms:

 Fever, loss of appetite, painful or swollen joints, lameness that comes and goes, swollen lymph nodes, and lethargy.  damage to the kidneys, nervous system, and heart.

Our services provide tick and flea shampoos that are natural and allergy free, we also measure the dosage for safety. It is very effective but only in early stages , where the tick is visible and did not have the time to penetrate the skin. It is less toxic than other remedies of course. 

Frontline

is very good for ticks  but according to medical professionals is toxic. You must wear gloves when applied this product, and should be applied on the neck area only. Don’t forget to wash your hands,   it is toxic for humans as well. It is widely available , but please read the label  carefully, and according to the weight of your dog. Overdose could be fatal. It is very safe for pregnant dogs as well though.
